Customer: Tunisian Mobile Operator
The customer was looking to consolidate its IT
network and service management infrastructure -which was based on point
solutions- into a single centralized tool.
HERMES SoftLab provided consulting services to
enable the customer to implement and effectively use an IT Service
Management solution based on HP OpenView products for network and
systems management, as well as for service management of enterprise and
critical applications such as billing systems, Oracle DB, Exchange and
PeopleSoft. The environment comprised more than 50 servers, over 1000
network nodes and elements, 14 Oracle servers, 2 Exchange servers, 1
PeopleSoft server and 1 Microsoft Active Directory Server.
HP, HERMES SoftLab and SMS (a local partner) joined
forces to deliver a solution based on HP OpenView. HERMES SoftLab
designed and implemented the solution, which enables the operator to
centrally monitor and proactively manage network, systems and
applications.
