HERMES SoftLab and HP warmly
invite you to a
“Solutions Breakfast” on Identity Management
at Hotel Mons, Ljubljana,
October 20, 2005 |
 |
Join us on Thursday, October 20, at 8:30, for a
breakfast at Hotel Mons, where you will learn about the
challenges on Information Security and Identity Management
enterprises are facing today and the solutions from HERMES SoftLab
based on HP OpenView software.
As enterprises externalize their business processes over the
Internet to customers and trading partners, they have expanded the
number and types of users requiring access to IT resources. In
addition, the need for regulatory compliance in some industries is
driving the establishment of secure access and control
infrastructure.
Thus, effective management of user access to the heterogeneous IT
environment (external and internal user identity information
repositories, databases, operating systems, and applications) is one
of the most important challenges for IT organizations. Organizations
need to ensure that users are properly identified and that these
identities are validated. They need to know that users can only
access what their job function allows them to access. They need to
have a consolidated, organizational-wide view and way to manage user
access. And finally, they need to ensure that the activities
associated with user access are logged for day-to-day monitoring,
regulatory and investigative purposes.
HERMES SoftLab offers consulting, solution design and
implementation as well as solution support in the area of Identity
and Access Management based on HP OpenView portfolio of products to
assist your organization successfully face the Identity Management
and Information Security challenges.
