Peter Testen,
CEO and President of the Managing Board, HERMES SoftLab
Topic: HERMES SofLab Group at the
glance
Mr. Peter Testen has over 35 years of
experience in Information Technology. He began his career with Hewlett
Packard (HP) in 1970. During his tenure with HP, Mr. Testen contributed
to many HP business areas. As General Manager and VP of International
Sales Europe, Mr. Testen had regional responsibility for Eastern Europe,
Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and helped to bring eminence to HP’s
activities in many countries. Mr. Testen was named as HEREMS SoftLab CEO
and President of the Managing Board in 2005. Before that he has been the
Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2003. Peter Testen holds a
degree in electronic engineering from the University Of Ljubljana,
Slovenia.
Nada Klemenčič,
Founder of the Company Za&Svet and APO+
Topic: New trends in insurance
industry
Mrs. Nada Klemenčič has been working in the
insurance industry for over 25 years, which included tenures of 6 years
as General Director of SavaRe and over 14 years as General Director of
Zavarovalnica Triglav, one of the region’s biggest insurance companies.
Under her leadership, Zavarovalnica Triglav became one of the most
successful financial institutions in the wider region. She founded and
managed the Slovenian Insurance Association and the Slovenian Nuclear
Pool. For the last 4 years, she has been working as an insurance broker
in company Za&Svet, while also acting as a consultant to major domestic
and foreign insurance institutions. Mrs. Nada Klemenčič holds a degree
in law and acted as a Superior Court Judge in the Republic of Slovenia
for a term of 8 years.

We will present a wide spectre of various solutions in e-commerce in
insurance which include ecommerce both in relation to clients as well as
business partners. Emphasis will be placed on demonstration of
case-studies in practice (register of vehicles and claims, internet
portal zavarujme.si)
Mr. Srdjan Atanasijević has over 18 years of
experience working in information systems and management. Leading
various projects for high-tech vendors with special focus on mobile
devices software development and Internet based information systems.
Responsible for presales, technical account management, program
definition and initial project management. He has a degree in computer
science and masters degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering,
University of Belgrade. He is a senior lecturer in the graduate program
of the Visoka Tehnička Škola, informatics department.

Topic: Managing
business processes in insurance companies
This presentation will set out the structural
approach to optimisation and harmonisation of business processes in
insurance companies based on the use of a specialised methodology,
strategy, tools and good practice from this field. The goal of
optimisation is to link business processes, contribute to their
flexibility and streamlining, reduce or eliminate their dependence from
the limitations imposed by the existing legacy systems and ultimately
reduce operating costs.
Mr. Igor Pauletič si the Managing Director
of the company Mikrocop. He has over 10 years of experience working in
development of document imaging, data capture and processing, including
document storage and management solutions. His focus is development of
online services enabling outsourcing of document and data management. Mr
Pauletič is the author of several articles discussing document
management and archiving solutions, IT and BP outsourcing benefits.
Mr. Gregor Križanič is the product manager
and business consultant for business process management and optimization
at HERMES SoftLab, with several years of experience on various software
development projects, from Insurance, Banking to Telco industry. He is
responsible for solution development and go-to-market activities. Gregor
participated in business process automation in one of the Slovenian’s
fastest growing insurance company. He has a degree in Economics and
Business science from Faculty of Economics and Business in Maribor.”

Topic: Reliable and
up-to-date information as a foundation for corporate decision-making
This presentation aims to present the appropriate
tools and methodology for transformation of fragmented data into
focused, analysed and clear information working as a sound basis for
important corporate decision-making at all levels within the insurance
company.
Mr. Haris Škoro is the leading software
engineer and architect at HERMES SoftLab. He has several years of
experience in development, implementation and management of information
systems in Banking and Insurance sector. Within the insurance sector his
focus is on the field of Business Intelligence, while his previous
responsibilities included the establishment of the nation-wide car
insurance and claim registry for the Slovenian insurance association and
a consumer-oriented online car insurance portal. He has a degree in
computer and information science from University of Ljubljana and is a
big sports fan.
